Account Manager
Location: Dallas, Texas

The company is now seeking to fill a position for an Account Manager. In this position you will be responsible to identify and exploiting new business opportunities, as well as developing existing customer accounts that you will resume responsibility for within the Americas markets.

You will get an outstanding opportunity to leverage your business to business sales experience and to accelerate your skills in complex software solution and related service sales.
  
You will become an integral part of the Americas sales team taking part in the sales team’s effort to aggressively grow Aptilo as a leading supplier in its field and expand into new fields. The person filling this position will be reporting to the Vice President Sales Americas.

You are most likely someone with sales experience from growing companies in the IT/Telecommunication industry. You have either worked in a small-to-medium sized company and are well acquainted with how to work in this size of a company, or have a strong desire to really make a difference in such a company with a larger responsibility.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible to sell and market Aptilo´s product and services within those territories and customer segments. You will address your customers directly as well as indirectly through our partners, such as system integrators and resellers.
  • You will lead sales projects and work closely with other internal resources such as technical pre-& post sales engineers, product management and support. Customer and partner presentations are part of your daily work which means that you will need to require comprehensive understanding about Aptilo´s product portfolio.
  • Aptilo has a number of global partners which are represented on the assigned territories. It will be your responsibility to manage and maintain local contacts with these existing partners, and when so required, establish new regional or local partnership(s).
  • You will work closely with, and put requirements on, the operational management team to ensure that excellent levels of client satisfaction are achieved for your accounts.
  • You will implement and execute on an ambitious sales and marketing plan for your accounts and territories, which will be correlated to the overall company and Americas sales targets as well as your individual targets.   
  • The job includes almost daily contacts with colleagues at the regional Aptilo offices, and you are expected to become an ambassador within your field of profession.

Requirements:

  • You have at least 3 years of experience from business-to-business sales in a related field.
  • You must have work experience from the IT-industry, preferably within the wireless and/or telecommunications fields.
  • You must be willing and positive to travel and to spend time with our globally based customers and partners.
  • You are fluent in English.
  • Proficiency in other languages are an advantage
  • You have excellent communications and negotiations skills
  • As the job very much includes customer and project driven activities you must be able to, and comfortable with independent work taking own initiatives
  • You should have the capability to roll up the sleeves and not be afraid to sometimes work with more basic tasks to get the job done
  • You should be creative, ingenious, open minded and always ready to accept new challenges
