The Aptilo AAA+ CoreAptilo AAA+ Core boasts advanced hotlining functionality according to the latest ratified WiMAX NWG standards and the required interoperability adaptations to the ASN Gateway vendors’ASN Gateway vendors’ extensions. It provides support for redirecting users to a Hotlining Portal e.g. to activate new users and devices through a self-signup process or to refill an existing prepaid account when funds are depleted. The Hotlining portal can also be used to dynamically change a user’s service plan through a Change of Authorization (CoA) call during an ongoing session. |

Aptilo WiMAX AAA+ Core gives you more |

The Change of Authorization (CoA) support coupled with Aptilo’s provisioning API enables next-generation WiMAX services where an external application - such as video-on-demand systems - can trigger a change of authorization to e.g., temporarily increase the bandwidth for a user. This enables dynamic service changes initiated from external systems, such as moving to and from hotlining profiles and changing QoS service parameters on the fly.
The Aptilo Hotlining Portal is centrally located in the operations center and allows for full freedom of customization and tailoring by the service provider to reflect their brand and service offerings.
Captive portals have been used in Wi-Fi hotspot implementations for many years. The same types of portals are also used for WiMAX Hotlining functions.
The service provider is free to integrate with any existing or third-party portals or utilize Aptilo’s built-in captive portal solution, which has been proven in a large number of WiMAX and Wi-Fi installations worldwide.
Dynamic Web pages allow the freedom to design each site’s captive portal page uniquely to provide a separate look and feel for each location. The Aptilo Hotlining Portal function provides a tool for time-saving modifications of captive portal pages where sign-up and purchase of services are offered.
Additional portal page development can be done by the customer and uploaded using the provided administrative GUI.
