New Release of the Aptilo Hotspot Solution

Aptilo Networks Strengthens Position as a Leading Hotspot-Enabler with Latest Version of the Award-Winning Aptilo Hotspot Solution

STOCKHOLM — The launch of version 4 of Aptilo Networks’ carrier-class solution for wired and wireless Hotspots brings a host of new features including efficient system management, hotel system billing, account top-up, and bandwidth control with QoS, to meet the ever-developing requirements of all kinds of hotspot operators such as mobile and fixed line operators, WISPs and venue owners. Deployment of hotspots has never been easier and more cost efficient in various environments and sizes of locations thanks to the new release of the Aptilo Hotspot Solution.

Aptilo’s Hotspot Solution has been designed to manage and operate Hotspots and offer end-to-end services from a local Hotspot to the operators Network Operations Center. Through its open architecture the solution easily integrates toWårds surrounding operator support systems such as customer care, billing system and reporting systems.

Aptilo’s new release of the Aptilo Hotspot Solution offers the following new features:

  • Hotel System Payment Module for hotel PMS integration enables charging of Hotspot services to the hotel bill
  • Quality of Service and Bandwidth control enable differentiated service offerings and charging
  • Auto remote initialization of Hotspot gateways shorten the time for configuration and setup of Hotspots
  • Remote Software Upgrade enables high speed upgrade of new features
  • VPN Management Tunnel enhance the security and reduce the need for hardware at each Hotspot
  • Account Top-Up while the user are in session
  • System development support for design of Login pages and Dynamic Session Windows
