North African Operator Selects Aptilo to Enable City Wi-Fi Project
STOCKHOLM – Aptilo Networks, the leading provider of carrier-class Wi-Fi service management and offloading solutions, has been selected by a North African operator to enable Wi-Fi services in a major city.
Using the Aptilo Service Management Platform™, Wi-Fi services will be offered to residential subscribers, tourists and enterprises. Users will be able to sign-up online and pay for the service through voucher or credit card. Utilizing Aptilo’s recurring credit card charging feature, subscribers will be able to sign-up for a monthly subscription billed through their credit cards.
Free access to the Wi-Fi network will also be provided within the limited scope of a specific venue for different sponsored events and for enterprise Guest Internet Access.
The registration process for non-subscribers will be simplified but will still require secure identification of the user. At first login, non-subscribers need only enter a validation code delivered from the Aptilo platform via a SMS or e-mail to access the service.
